Services we offer
Fun Swims
Our training centre offers access to an 18ft x 9ft heated indoor pool, providing a relaxed and enjoyable swimming experience for dogs and their owners.
Fun Swims are designed as a safe, supervised opportunity for dogs to enjoy the water, build confidence, and have fun in a controlled environment. Dog life jackets and pool toys are available for use, making sessions suitable for both confident swimmers and those new to the water.
Owners are welcome to join their dogs in the pool if they wish. Appropriate swimwear is required, and towels should be brought for personal use. Towels for dogs are provided. Complimentary tea and coffee are available during your visit.

Millen Home Holiday Boarding
Our Home Holiday Boarding service offers dogs a comfortable, safe, and enriching stay in a home environment while their owners are away. Boarding takes place in our own home, allowing dogs to settle into a relaxed routine rather than a kennel-based setting.
We cater for dogs of all sizes and individual needs, ensuring each dog receives a tailored experience during their stay. Dogs have access to a large secure garden, our comfortable home environment, and additional enrichment opportunities including use of our indoor dog pool, enclosed woodland and training fields, and agility equipment.
For dogs that enjoy social interaction, supervised day care sessions can be included. We also offer bespoke packages for dogs that prefer not to mix, as well as for puppies and older dogs who may require a quieter or more structured routine.
Millen K9 is fully licensed by the local council and fully insured, providing owners with peace of mind that their dogs are cared for to the highest standards.
Classes
Our classes are designed to build strong foundations and practical life skills in a structured, supportive environment. Training takes place across both our indoor and outdoor facilities, with progression into real-world settings where appropriate, ensuring dogs can apply their learning beyond the training space.
Puppy Level 1 is suitable for puppies from their second vaccination up to five months of age. This course provides the ideal start, focusing on essential foundation skills to support confident, well-rounded development. Key areas include loose lead walking, recall, and appropriate social skills, delivered in a controlled and positive setting.
Puppy Level 2 builds on these foundations, introducing training in a variety of environments to develop important life skills. Sessions may take place in public locations such as parks, cafés, and other local settings, so the ability to travel is required.
Good Behaviour Level 1 is designed for dogs over five months of age and focuses on core behaviours including loose lead walking, recall, social skills, neutrality, and engagement.
Good Behaviour Level 2 is for dogs that have completed Level 1 and continues training in more challenging environments, including public spaces. These sessions help dogs develop reliability, focus, and confidence in everyday situations.
We offer a range of professional training and care services designed to support dogs at every stage of their development. From structured classes and one-to-one training to residential programmes and home-based care, all services are delivered with a strong focus on welfare, behaviour, and practical, real-world results. Each programme is tailored to the individual dog, ensuring clear guidance, consistency, and long-term success for both dog and owner.
1-to-1 Training
Our 1-to-1 training sessions offer fully tailored support for you and your dog, focusing on your specific goals and challenges. Each session is designed to give you clear guidance, practical techniques, and the confidence to continue training effectively beyond the session itself.
Training is delivered on a one-to-one basis with an experienced trainer, allowing for in-depth assessment and a personalised approach. This format is ideal for identifying underlying issues quickly and implementing effective, achievable solutions.
1-to-1 training can support a wide range of behavioural and training concerns, including barking, reactive behaviour, jumping up, recall, loose lead walking, toilet training, anxiety, and compulsive behaviours.
As with all of our training programmes, ongoing support is included, giving you access to guidance whenever you need additional help or clarification as you progress.
