PSA at Millen K9
PSA (Protection Sports Association) is a fast-growing dog sport that tests a dog's obedience, control, and protection work across realistic, varied scenarios. It's about teamwork between handler and dog, sharp obedience, genuine drive, and above all control. Whether you're brand new to the sport or looking for somewhere to keep training, it's an exciting, rewarding way to build a stronger bond with your dog.
We're a new PSA club, and we're looking for new members to grow with us. You don't need any prior experience, just an enthusiastic dog and a willingness to learn. Sessions are led by Lewis Evans, and we welcome handlers at every level, from complete beginners to those already competing.
When we train
Sessions run every Sunday, starting at 10am, here at Millen K9 Services (HX2 0TG). One-to-one sessions are also available if you'd prefer focused, individual coaching or want to work on something specific.
Accredited decoy work
Training is supported by Lewis Evans, accredited PSA decoy, so you and your dog get safe, high-quality protection work from people who know the sport inside out.
Interested in decoy work?
Fancy getting on the other end of the line? We're also offering the chance to train as a PSA decoy under Lewis Evans. Decoy work is a skilled, hands-on role at the heart of the sport and whether you're looking to develop as a decoy for the first time or sharpen your existing skills, Lewis can help you build the technique, timing, and confidence to do it safely and well. Spaces are limited, so if you'd like to find out more, get in touch and we'll talk you through it.
How to join
New members are always welcome. To book your place or ask any questions, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help you get started.
