Assistance Dogs in Yorkshire
Millen K9 is proud to work with carefully selected Labrador lines suited to therapy, assistance, pet, and working roles. Our dogs have gone on to work with established assistance organisations, including Guide Dogs, as well as supporting individuals and families in private homes for therapy and autism assistance.
Milromali Labradors are bred with a strong focus on health, temperament, and suitability for working roles. All parent dogs are Kennel Club registered, hip and elbow scored, and puppies are extensively socialised before moving to their new homes to ensure the best possible start.
We offer training support for a range of assistance and working roles, tailored to the specific needs of each dog and handler. For further information or to discuss suitability and availability, please get in touch.
What Sets Us Apart
At Millen K9, we offer more than standard dog training. Every service we provide is built around individual assessment, welfare-led practice, and real-world results. With a rare combination of advanced behavioural education, veterinary nursing expertise, and operational working-dog experience, our approach is grounded in both science and practical application. Training takes place in purpose-built facilities and real-life environments, ensuring dogs learn skills that genuinely transfer to everyday situations. From puppies to working and assistance dogs, each programme is tailored, ethical, and supported by ongoing guidance so progress continues long after sessions end.
