Day care at Millen K9

About our day care

Our day care gives your dog a safe, stimulating, and sociable day while you're at work or away. Set across our secure training facility, enclosed woodland and training fields, it's a world away from a busy kennel environment your dog gets space to play, explore, rest, and simply enjoy being a dog, all under experienced supervision.

Every dog is different, so we keep things flexible. Whether your dog loves the company of others or prefers a quieter, more structured day, we tailor their time with us to suit their temperament, energy, and needs.

What a day looks like

Days are a balanced mix of activity and rest. Dogs enjoy supervised play and social time, walks and exploration around our woodland and fields, enrichment to keep their minds busy, and plenty of downtime to relax and recharge. For dogs who enjoy it, we can include use of our indoor dog pool and agility equipment as part of the day.

We keep a close eye on every dog throughout, making sure play stays positive and each dog gets the balance of stimulation and rest that's right for them.

Who it's for

We welcome dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. For sociable dogs, group play is a big part of the fun. For dogs who prefer not to mix or for puppies and older dogs who need a gentler, quieter routine we offer more individual, bespoke arrangements so every dog feels comfortable and secure.

Because our day care is run with a genuine focus on welfare and behaviour, it's also a great environment for dogs who benefit from calm, consistent handling from people who understand them.

Why choose Millen K9 day care

A specially designed training facility rather than a kennel environment, with a secure garden, enclosed woodland, and training fields. Experienced, welfare-led supervision from a professional training team. Optional extras like our indoor pool and agility. And a flexible, tailored approach for every dog, whether they thrive in company or need their own space.

Book a place

Spaces are limited to keep things calm and manageable, so we'd always recommend getting in touch early. To check availability or arrange a visit, contact us and we'll be happy to help find the right routine for your dog.
